Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own product language quality from beginning to end
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Experience and Program Management teams to localize and/or validate content for DocuSign’s product and product documentation
  • Evangelize cross-functional teams and stakeholders about localization processes and best practices.
  • Fix linguistic issues, develop and maintain DocuSign style guides, glossaries and loc kit

Basic Qualifications

  • B.A. in Translation, Linguistics, or equivalent experience (Master’s degree is a plus)
  • Native fluency in Spanish
  • 5+ years of localization experience in a high-tech industry
  • Experience using localization CAT tools
  • Experience managing Translation Memories and Glossaries, Style Guides and Loc kit
  • Understanding of differences in cultures and languages in Spanish speaking countries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Speak multiple languages
  • Specific translation experience with different flavors of Spanish
  • Have worked on both vendor and client side
  • Great understanding of localization and internationalization issues
  • Self-starter, quick-learner, detail-oriented, quality-focused and proactive
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
