Job Description
In this role, you will…
- Create and maintain Cornerstone’s global localization strategy in alignment with the marketing communications and content strategy
- Manage each step of the global localization process from project kickoffs to creating detailed project plans and deliverables in partnership with the marketing PMO team
- Oversee end-to-end localization workflow for marketing communications and website assets, leveraging project management and translation management tools, systems and agencies
- Coordinate freelancers, localization vendors, linguists, subject-matter experts, and internal stakeholders
- Document each step of the process and optimize it for efficient delivery
- Communicate internally and externally with stakeholders to ensure effective cross-team collaboration and timely delivery of projects
- Relay upcoming content to local and regional teams and assess needs, and adapt delivery schedules accordingly
- Proactively assess project risks through prioritization, bug management, and other means as needed.
- Track and manage translation budgets and costs in alignment with marketing priorities.
- Create and maintain linguistic packages (TM, style guides, glossaries)
- Explore, assess, and select relevant technology to make the localization and linguistic tasks more efficient and cost-effective
- Define the quality requirements and metrics for all marketing content types that require localization
- Define and track localization KPIs and output, and work with regional marketing teams to measure ROI
You’ve Got What It Takes If You Have…
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 3+ years experience in managing localization projects and workflows
- Strong internal cross-functional collaboration skills and vendor management skills
- Budget management skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, time-management and multitasking skills
- Strong familiarity of cross-cultural differences
- Knowledge of standard industry software, file types and localization tools
