Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Design and optimize implementation of cutting-edge localization and navigation systems for off-road vehicles
  • Derive models for vehicle dynamics on a wide range of platforms for use in both localization and navigation systems
  • Derive models for sensor updates from a variety of sensors such as LIDAR, stereo cameras, landmarks, etc.
  • Collaborate with team members (inside and outside of Neya) to generate robust, maintainable, and extensible software that integrates cleanly with other autonomy capabilities

What We’re Looking For

  • MS/PhD in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, etc. or equivalent in industry experience
  • 3 – 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Extensive experience with Kalman filters
  • Skilled with sensor data processing, vehicle modeling, and sensor fusion
  • Experience implementing SLAM systems.
  • Excellent mathematical reasoning skills, especially with probability and linear algebra
  • Extensive experience writing high quality code in Linux/C++11 or C++14
  • Understanding of sensor error modeling
  • Passionate about Robotics and Intelligent Systems
