Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:
      • Participate in a comprehensive discovery process to identify needs across a complex content landscape, from interviews and workshops through to working with the Director of Content and technical architects to develop a durable and robust localisation ecosystem that can deliver content in agile ways across multiple languages and outputs
      • Work with tribes and squads comprised of product managers, engineers, designers, and researchers who inform a localisation strategy, to define and prioritise requirements for the suite of world-class products, ensuring that the requested content can be developed and maintained in ways that facilitate automated delivery, such as using prescribed content schemas and metadata
      • Work with the Director of Content to ensure that the localisation model is robust and nimble, to support an efficient working environment for localisation managers, while ensuring controls for text-based and visual assets are in place that satisfy regulatory bodies
      • Work with both content and technical teams to develop a robust content model that allow for semantic tagging and dynamic delivery of content to facilitate sophisticated delivery of semantic content
      • Ensure that content translation and localisation processes follow best practices, and are robust enough to accommodate a range of language and cultural differences
      • Advocate for content while understanding product and business goals, and educate technical staff about the possibilities for content production and delivery

      • Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, product owners and other stakeholders
      • Use data and research to do cost-benefit analyses that evaluate the impact of localisation on the business
    • Work on ingestion of content from external providers, ensuring that content integration meets our content requirements, is in the appropriate format, and can meet any localisation needs
