Job Description

You Are

  • Experienced: Localization experience in the software/internet industry on the client side. This means you have a great understanding of localization and internationalization issues and familiarity with localization processes
  • Education: In Translation, Linguistics – BA. or equivalent
  • Hindi Expertise: Excellent language skills in both Hindi and English, and a solid knowledge of Hindi culture, customs, language and local pop culture
  • LQA experience: Familiarity with bug reporting process and software
  • Versatile: Detail-oriented, quality-focused and understands process changes.

You Will

  • Provide high-quality Hindi translations for our product, marketing, and others
  • Create the rules for the Hindi Text Filter and maintain it over time
  • Create translation memories, glossaries, and style guides
  • Work with product & engineering teams to provide Hindi Linguistic and Localization QA for our product
  • Collaborate with external localization vendors to improve the language quality
  • Uncover, evaluate, and fix linguistic and localization issues

Basic Qualifications

  • Certification in Localization or translation
  • 3+ years experience working in localization field on the client side
  • Experience working with CAT, TMS and MT systems
